Let me explain...
One night, a couple of years ago, around 3am, I got really bored. I decided to cure this boredom by flicking on the old telly and seeing what was on Showtime. This was a bad idea. Although I had the purest intentions of hoping to see D2:The Mighty Ducks, or Fern Gully, I happened upon a show called "The L word." I had not heard of this show. So being the naturally curious person that I am, I decided to watch to see what it was about. It didn't take long for me to realize the "L word" was lesbian. As soon as I realized what sort of show this was I turned it off, but I did recognize one of the actresses from.........Boy Meets World. For those of you that don't know, BMW is my all-time favorite show, I have seen every episode numerous times, and can quote more than a few word for word. Let me take this opportunity to say "Yes, I am a nerd." Anyways, the actresses' name is Leisha Hailey, and before she was making out with chicks, she was writing sugary-sweet, bubble gum, folky-pop music to Eric Matthews. Observe.
Now, back to my story. As I was randomly Wiki-surfing today, I found a band called "Uh Huh Her" and one of the founding members is Leisha Hailey. Naturally I had to listen to the musical stylings of someone who performed the infamous "Shallow Boy," so I took a listen, and If you like Indie/Electro/pop, it's pretty good. What do you think?
