Last night I watched a movie called "Super High Me" which is basically the plot of "Super Size Me," the movie where the dude eats nothing but Mickey D's for 30 days, but instead of eating Big Macs all day this guy get's high constantly with every form of Tetrahydrocannabinol possible. Including but not limited to Hash brownies, Ganja energy bars, Vaporizers, and just good old-fashioned joints. The thing that blew my mind was that since 1994 in the state of California anyone with a note from their doctor can go into a "dispensary" which is basically a pot pharmacy and get any form of marijuana they want. The catch is, this is legal under Proposition 215, but illegal under Federal law. In 3 years these dispensaries have gone from 40 or so to nearly 300. Marijuana is the biggest cash crop in the U.S. It yields much more income than wheat, sugar, cotton, or anyother crop we grow. Crazy huh? I'm writing all of this from a fairly neutral point of view because while I know that plenty of people abuse this law to just get a quick score, I also know many patients suffering from cancer, aids, and other various diseases get the pain relief, increased appetite, and just overall more human feeling they desperately seek because of this rule. Think about it...
